LAHORE: The Punjab’s Law Minister and prominent leader of the ruling political party, Rana Sanaullah, has suggested the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan to estimate his popularity level before in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) before holding polls.
Wordy war continued on its peak between the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah and the leadership of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for some days via their opposing statements.
PML-N’s Sanaullah has now seen in the challenging mode regarding the popularity level of PTI’s Imran Khan as well as slammed ongoing protests of the ruling political party of KPK province.
While talking to the media before Punjab Assembly, Sanaullah claimed that the NATO supplies are continued as per routine and US authorities made no demands for restoration of the troops supply line.
He said that US government would place demands for the NATO supply line continuation in the case if somebody stops it; but the process is on.
The law minister said that the statement of US defence minister is not yet confirmed, however, the Pakistani nation should decide whether to disconnect relations with NATO countries or not as the decision could not be taken by a political party.
It should be mentioned that PTI and its allies political parties are staging large-scale sit-ins on the major NATO supply spots in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) province since last seventeen days while also announced new 30-day schedule for the protests.
On the other hand, US government had also announced suspension of supplies’ operations from borders of KPK while the supply chain is continued from another spot, Chaman of Balochistan province.
