KARACHI: The Sindh government has handed over another prominent administrative post of Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Owais Muzaffar Tappi to its provincial information secretary Sharjeel Memon on Monday.
PPP’s prominent leader, Owais Muzaffar Tappi, is facing another set back from the Sindh authorities as its last post of Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) chairmanship has been given to Sharjeel Memon.
Tappi is reportedly seeing the severe consequences followed by internal differences with the Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah while Sharjeel Memon continuously getting rewards on provision of visible services to the Sindh government, local media reported.
Earlier, the provincial authorities had taken back the ministries of Health and Municipalities from Tappi and awarded Municipalities’ ministry charge to Memon
Sharjeel Memon is now holding charges of three prominent posts including the provincial information ministry, municipalities ministry as well as the KWSB chairman now followed by the recent development.
It should be mentioned that the MPA Owais Muzaffar Tappi is now emptied from holding any prominent position in the Sindh government.
