KARACHI: Four criminals has been arrested along with 3000 illegal mobile SIMs during a raid conducted by Crime Investigation Department (CID) police on Friday in Karachi, the metropolis of Pakistan.
CID officials have conducted a raid in the densely populated Saddar area of the metropolis and reportedly captured accused along with illegally activated mobile SIMs.
Police sources told TheNewsTribe that the gang was found involved in activating the closed and illegal SIMs via sensitive devices.
The arrested persons accepted the involvement of some officials from private cellular companies for running the illegal business with them, sources added.
The police move considered as the first in its genre in the metropolitan city of Pakistan following the Supreme Court (SC)’s order for necessary action against the criminals involved in running illegal SIMs businesses.
