LAHORE: The Planning and Development Minister Ahsan Iqbal predicts that the government aims to focus upon investing in the sector of Information Technology. This will facilitate Pakistan to turn into mini information superpower by 2025.
Ahsan Iqbal said that by harnessing the sector of information technology, Pakistan will become a mini hub of information by 2025. While addressing to academia of Silicon Valley‚ top Pakistani entrepreneurs and IT professionals at San Jose in the United States he said,
“Pakistan’s long term plan 2025 is aimed at developing knowledge pillars of the economy to realize fast growth trajectory in development and became competitive economy in global market”.
“The government was adopting a collaborative approach and wanted to forge a partnership of public and private sector‚ academia‚ and Pakistani Diaspora for turnaround of the economy”.
