ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) pronounce schedule for the local bodies elections for Punjab and Sindh. The Secretary urged that the printing for ballet papers must be on time.
ECP has announced the dates for local bodies elections in the provinces of Sindh and Punjab. According to the schedule, the biggest province of the country will hold elections on 7 December. On the other hand, Sindh will hold elections on 27th November.
The nomination papers will be returned to the candidates on 24th November whereas the investigation will be done from 16th to 18th. In Punjab, nomination papers to be returned on 27th November.
The secretary of EC Ishtiaq Ahmad Khan urged the cabinet division that the printing of ballet papers must be on time. He said that for this matter, he will also hold talks with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
