Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Sidney Rice will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL, the team said Tuesday.
Rice was injured in Monday’s 14-9 win over the St. Louis Rams.
Rice was third on the team with 15 catches for 231 yards and was tied for the team lead with three touchdown receptions.
According to ESPN, the loss of Rice could be softened by expected return of wide receiver Percy Harvin, who has not played this season after undergoing hip surgery. Harvin returned to practice last week.
Seattle (7-1), which has the NFC’s best record, hosts the winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-7) on Sunday.
