ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister of Pakistan, Chaudhry Nisar Khan on Saturday said more than 2000 governmental passports have been cancelled while around 95 people involved in human trafficking have also been blaclisted.
Nisar said Pakistan faced defamation in all over the world due to illegal agents involved in human trafficking.
“You would be in shock if I disclosed the details of the cancelled passports”, he answered on query to media persons and added that FIA has arrested 26 agents involved in human trafficking.
He said Pakistani’s are living illegally in foreign countries would bring back to the country with the assistance of Interpol.
Nisar said unregistered Sims are used in terrorist activities and government is going to plan the evacuation of such activities.
The Interior Minister said corrupt police officers will not tolerate in capital of Pakistan.
Nisar added that the new passports will be delivered to houses by mail in future and a query about the development of passport can be confirmed through a mobile SMS service.
He said over 70,000 arms license were issued illegally and without national identity cards.
