ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to leave for Turkey today for an official 3 day visit. Several MoUs will be signed regarding economic partnership and biletral trade.
The press release from Embassy of Pakistan in Ankara states that Prime Minister Nawaz has visited Turkey on the request of his counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Besides, the PM of the country is also set to meet Turkish President Abdullah Gul. Also, highest award of Turkey is to be given to Muhammad Nawaz Sharif by Recep Tayyep Erdogan.
The Prime Ministers of the respective countries will co chair High Level Cooperation Council (HLCC) for the third time in Ankara. This is a unique platform where the two countries give a long term strategic direction to the already brotherly relations.
Furthermore, to enhance relationship between Pakistan and Turkey, MoUs and other agreements will be signed for mutual consensus in economic and commercial spheres.
Prime Minister Nawaz will also visit the site of Ankara’s low cost housing project for society’s deprived people. He will also address to a Business Forum at Istanbul on September 18 and meet Turkish investors and CEOs.
Many Pakistan’s leading names of business are also expected to be there who will also interact with their counterparts in Turkey for the exploration of mutual business benefits and opportunities. Prime Minister’s visit to Turkey holds tremendous prospects especially in areas such as mass transit system, energy‚ low cost housing‚ infrastructure development and other municipal services.
