The Turkish Minister for Environment and Urban Population called on PM Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad, while the announcement for Sharif’s visit was made during the meeting.
Strengthening of economic relationships between both countries will be basic part of PM’s visit to Turkey as well as Nawaz Sharif likely to gain opinions of Turkish metropolitan experts, governmental sources said.
On the event, the Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi were also present.
Earlier, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif revealed that Punjab’s government is taking concrete steps to facilitate the locals with provision of pure drinking water and better drainage in big cities of the province while WASA, the Water and Sanitation Agency, will be reformed by gradual optimisation program in the light of Turkish experts.
