London: A former joint sector in charge of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) decides to launch MQM Imran Farooq Shaheed group.
The renowned media group of Pakistan, Jang, disclosed that a former joint sector incharge of MQM Gulbahar town, Naeem Ahmed has decided to launch his new party in remembrance of MQM’s assassinated leader Imran Farooq.
The former joint sector in charge aimed to lead the splinter party in the name of former convener Imran Farooq. He said that he himself would be convener of the party and in a press conference he said that people like Azeem Ahmed Tariq and Imran Farooq has always worked for poor people and also sacrificed their lives for this cause.
Naeem Ahmed also claimed that heroes like Imran Farooq openly voiced his opinion against the some people hijacking the party. He gave his life for the cause like thousand others and he was about to launch his own party when he was killed.
The 50 year old leader of newly founded faction of MQM said that the website of the new party would be launched soon. Naeem Ahmed in 1996 took political asylum in Belgium and wrote letters to Commissioner General in which he requested for asylum on behalf of human rights.
He said that on his return to Pakistan, he may get haunted and killed. He also came in BBC news night report in which he said that MQM is not a peaceful party anymore.
