Sawabi: Former Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Iqbal Khalil said that the new local bodies elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will ensure that the power is transferred to the lowest level.
While talking to media at Sena Medical Institute, Sawabi, the prominent provincial leader of JI, Dr. Iqbal Khalil said that the KPK local bodies elections would be a role model for other provinces. He further said that this way, the power would be transferred at the lowest level.
He further said that by implementing the transferring of power at the lowest level, all doors for buying fake votes will be closed. He said that the people of the province of KPK can select the candidates they wish to by voting them.
JI leader in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa further said that his party was unable to win votes of people because of unjust hurdles in 11th May elections. He said that Jamat e Islami is the only party that started from grass root level. Furthermore he said that he has told all the party workers to prepare for upcoming local government elections.
