LAHORE: Opposition parties have conducted a walkout from Punjab Assembly today (Monday) against recent increase in petroleum prices in country by the federal government.
Earlier, an opposition member has submitted a resolution against the matter of increase of petroleum prices in Punjab Assembly.
Leader of opposition in Punjab Assembly, Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed, from and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf said Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) has done those interventions which not done by PPP in its last regime.
Afterwards the short meeting with two members of a committee assign by Speaker Punjab Assembly in the matter, opposition members stopped protest and came back to their seats in Assembly.
