ISLAMABAD: The Judicial Commission has recommended to appoint Justice Maqbool Baqir as the chief justice of of Sindh High Court (SHC).
Present chief of SHC Justice Musheer Alam has been recommended to be appointed as a judge of Supreme Court.
The judicial commission met in the capital city of Islamabad with Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry in chair.
The commission will send its recommendations to parliamentary committee to finalize the matter.
Justice Maqbook Baqir was attacked a couple of months back by terrorists on being judically active against the outlaws in the province.
