LAHORE: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has taken back protest call against Punjab’s government over arrestment of PTI leaders in Lahore.
Provincial Secretary of PTI KPK, Shaukat Yousafzai, said that the decision has been made to delay the protest after release of our workers but we will resist again if the Punjab government uses same trend in future.
PTI had announced commencement of protest in KPK over yesterday’s arrestment of PTI leaders and workers who were demonstrating at a hunger strike camp at Mall Road in Lahore.
Police had removed a hunger strike camp of Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) by force who were protesting rigging at Mall Road in Lahore and detained candidate of PP-150, Â Mahar Wajid Azeem, female leader, Andaleeb along with a number of workers.
However, PTI KPK delayed the decision to protest as Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif ordered release of all workers and leaders.
