PESHAWAR: A suspected person, who denied the signal for stopping on check post, has been killed by Peshawar’s Police officials on Saturday, a local news channel reported.
Peshawar Police has killed a person suspiciously moving towards the check post located in Mattani area of Peshawar as he refused to stop after being signalled  from the officials for snap checking.
However, Police officials have taken the dead body into custody in order to initiate probe for identification of the person, sources said.
The sources added that Police officials have refused to provide more details pertaining killing of the suspected person whether he is equipped with weapons or explosives or not.
Security level has been raised across Pakistan after several bomb explosion and firing incidents happened in different parts of the country which resulted killing of several persons including civilians and security officials.
