LAHORE: Following a outburst from players as well as religious circles over banning fasting during training camp, the chief coach of Pakistan Hockey Team has reversed his decision.
Akhtar Rasool, who earlier kicked out major striker of the Green shirts, Shakeel Abbasi, has now allowed players to fast during the camp. He supported his decision saying that ‘there is an alternative of Fasting, but there is no alternative for training camp.’
“You can fast, but you have to attend the training camp,” Akhtar told the players.
Now the players could fast during training for the upcoming matches.
