ISLAMABAD: With people’s patients reaches to edge over prolonged load shedding, top brass of the country will get their heads together to devise new energy policy on Tuesday.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and chief ministers of Khyber Pakthoonkhwa, Punjab, Balochistan and Sindh will be meeting at Council for Common Interests (CCI).
Looking worried over the looming energy crisis, Sharif will be chairing the meeting which is likely to see heated debate between chief ministers.
After general elections and new governments formation, this will be the first meeting of CCI.
“The stakeholders will be taken into confidence on the current power supply and demand situation and government’s plans to overcome the shortage,” state media reported.
