KARACHI: Pakistan’s Minister of Interior Chaudhry Nisar has met Governor Sindh Ishrat-ul-Ibad Khan in Karachi on Monday during an official one-day visit.
Governor Sindh Ishrat-ul-Ibad Khan has given briefing regarding the law and order situation in the metropolitan city of Pakistan and also informed the variances occurred before law enforcement.
Chaudhry Nisar clarified the official that federal government will provide assistance to each province for elimination of terrorism and for the promotion of peace making process for the nation , sources said.
It is pertinent to note, Chaudhry Nisar already told the media that federal government has short listed new names for the key post of governorship of the provinces across Pakistan. Nisar added that new appointment of governors will be announced on suitable time.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar had reached Jinnah International Airport Karachi on Monday morning to overview the discrepancies which promoted terrorism activities in the economic hub.
Chaudhry Nisar has schedule to hold meetings with Governor Sindh Ishrat-ul-Ibad Khan, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah and also with senior politician Pir Pagara.
Chaudhry Nisar said that federal government cannot avoid worsen situation of Karachi and the loose style governance time is over.
Moreover, Nisar clarified regarding Imran Farooq murder case said that British government was not contacted by Pakistan in the case.
