LAHORE: With a prospect of million of dollars annually, Punjab’s tourism department announces two programmes for promotion of tourism in the eastern province of the country.
According to The News Tribe’s Special Correspondent, Punjab government is taking innovative steps to develop revenue sources for the province.
Amid this string of ideas. Punjab Tourism Department decides to play its part to boost the provincial heritage as well opening new avenues of revenue.
The first project include a Safari Train and a Tourist Resort at Mithan Kot in Rajanpur District while second one envisages installing a chairlift at Fort Munro in Dera Ghazi Khan district.
The projects were finalized at a meeting headed by Provincial Tourism Minister Rana Mashood Ahmad Khan.
