England have won the toss and decided to bat first. Home side after losing early 3 wickets recovered well. Jonathan Trott and Ian Bell showed resistance on the crease. Trott after completing his half century become the victim of Ryan Harris at the total of 127 runs. Ian Bell and Jonny Bairstow again made a vital contribution. Bell completed its second consecutive century of this series while Bairstow complete his half century. Bell got out after making 109 while Bairstow become the victim of Steven Smith after making 67 runs.
Stuart Broad and Graeme Swann at the end of the inning made a good partnership which allows England to score 361 runs.
Ryan Harris took 5 wickets while Steven Smith finishes of with 3 wickets for Australia.
