KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr. Farooq Sattar rejects alleged propaganda of BBC linking the party and Altaf Hussain with militancy.
“Nothing has been proved against MQM in the court,” he said at the Karachi airport after his visit to London.
He viewed that propaganda was being made against the MQM and termed that his visit to United Kingdom was successful.
“The channel has shown bits of video clips, which were out of context. Through this you can make countless media trials.”
BBC has aired on a documentary on origin, working and allegations on MQM a couple of days back inciting a uproar over social media in the country.
“Making stories on London police investigation shouldn’t be called an independent journalism,” he further said.
He was referring to case ongoing regarding Dr. Imran Farooq killing and money laundering allegations on MQM.
