Washington: Windows phone giant Nokia is preparing to debut another outstanding device under Lumia flag likely Lumia 1020 with an astonishing 41 megapixel camera.
As in past, Nokia introduce 808 PureView with 41 megapixel camera but that model runs on the Symbian platform.
Now with success of Lumia, Nokia is eyeing to introduce a device that not only runs the Windows but also competes with the latest smartphones in the market.
Samsung the leading smartphone maker have introduced another version of flagship device Samsung Galaxy S4. The device is known as Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom which is designed for the camera lover. Galaxy S4 Zoom have 16 megapixel camera but this isn’t enough to go against Nokia Lumia 1020’s camera sensor which is likely to be 41 megapixels.
The Lumia 1020 will use Nokia’s PureView sensor (also featured on the 910 and 808), which allows users to take high quality images in low light situations without using a flash. The 1020’s camera is likely to include Optic Image Stabilization, LED and Xenon flash, a “lossless” zoom feature, and settings for IOS, white balance, manual focus, and shutter speed.
The device also includes a 4.5-inch OLED touch screen display with a 332ppi (pixels per inch) with 768 x 1280 resolution.
Nokia Lumia 1020 should come with 32 GB of storage, a graphics processor and Bluetooth support, Wi-Fi and tethering to other devices.
The Lumia 1020 is expected to run on the Windows 8 platform, which is a deal breaker for some, but is embraced by others.
Now Nokia step up once again to compete against Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Samsung Galaxy S4 and iPhone 5S or iPhone 6. But this time, it is the different scenario because all the above devices might not offer the same camera features. Mean while Nokia once again become a strong competitor to lead thr smartphone market, the time will tell who will rule the era 2013-2014.
