LONDON: Fans have been a strong motivational factor for anyone in his or her personal and professional life but sometime fans can mess everything like one did this time for British Tennis star Andy Murray, when his fan has attempted to almost end the career of new Wimbledon champion.
According to TheNewsTribe’s correspondent from London Andy Murray was last night caught in a scuffle between his security and an over zealous fan, who appeared to poke him in the eye with a tennis book.
“As Murray left a Japanese restaurant with his girlfriend Kim Sears he was mobbed by fans looking for an autograph.”
One wearing a white Fred Perry polo shirt can be seen in photographs holding the book in front of Murray before his security intervenes.
According to the eye witnesses an Asian man, who is being filmed by another onlooker on his mobile phone, appears to be trying to get an autograph on the book which contained an advert for Slazenger balls on the back with “Winning Service” written large.
But as the scuffle develops Murray is hit directly in the face with the book, which also appears to poke him in the eye.
Very after the sad incident Murray’s security then held the fan back while the new British champion got into a waiting car with his girlfriend Kim Sears.
