ISLAMABAD: The apex court of the country dismisses all petitions seeking launching treason case against former dictator Pervez Musharraf.
According to newly appointed Attorney General Munir A Malik, the federal government has set up an investigation committee to probe into the matter.
The dismissal was made by a three-member bench headed by Justice Jawad S Khawaja this morning.
The bench ordered the government to carry out investigation under Article -6 against the former president, who came into power after a coup in October 1999.
