KARACHI: New wave of violence has claimed lives of 12 persons including teacher of an Islamic institution on Wednesday in Karachi, the metropolis of Pakistan.
At least 12 persons lost their lives and 8 were injured in different incidents of targeted attacks, grenades blasts and violent killing in the economical hub of Pakistan.
TNT representative said that Lyari and Aurangi towns are amongst the badly affected parts of the city while groups’ war was once again started in Sohrab goth area.
Qari Asad Ullah, a senior educator at an Islamic institution Iqra Rozatul Atfal, was gunned down by unknown miscreants near Parking Plaza Sadar.
According to TNT reports, ongoing gang war in Agra Taj, Hingora Abad, Bihar Colony of Lyari Town resulted killing of 4 persons including woman while miscreants independently used heavy weapons and grenades.
Miscreants shot down a person in Sohrab Goth area who is unidentified till yet while Lateef was killed in Usman Abad, a neighbourhood of Old City area.
In another incident, 45-year-old Awal Yasin was killed in Sector 11.5 area of Aurangi Town near Dabba Mor while police sources claimed that the Awal was activist of a political party.
Police sources told the TNT representative, dead body of a women was recovered from Aurangi Town which was identified as Sumera and shifted to the hospital for post mortem.
Police recovered another dead body from Khuda Ki Basti area of Surjani Town who was killed by gun shots by unknown assailants.
Two persons were died in Khajoor Market of Khara Dar and Korangi 5.5 areas by firing incidents carried out by unknown assailants.
Miscreants killed Shamsheer Bibi by headshot near Daig Wali Building of Aurangi Town.
Five persons injured in different incidents in the areas of Tibet Center, Mari pur’s Machar Colony and Quaid Abad while Naseem, lying lying outside his home, was severely injured by the gun shots by miscreants’ on motorcycles.
Three persons were injured in No 8 of Aurangi Town and Mehmood Abad areas of Karachi.
