ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has directed the electricity distribution companies to ensure continuous power supply in Ramadan.
PM Sharif strictly directed the the Ministry of Water and Power to ensure elimination of load shedding during Sehar, Iftar and Traveeh timings during the month of Holy Ramadan.
Earlier, Pakistan’s has made a significant move to eliminate load shedding issue across Pakistan as they paid paused amount of Rs322 billion to private power generating companies to avoid load shedding in Ramadan.
Moreover, beginning of the holy month may fall on July 10 in Pakistan instead of July 9 due to unclear weather, Pakistani astronomical parameters said.
