ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has termed US drone attacks unacceptable on Tuesday while meeting with James Dobbins, US Special Representative Ambassador, on his special visit to Pakistan.
US James Dobbins has reached to Pakistan to discuss bilateral cooperation, US drone strikes, US forces withdrawal from Afghanistan and US-Afghan talks as well as to appreciate Pakistan’s support for reconciliation talks with Taliban.
However, PM Nawaz Sharif has made its stance clear that the drone strikes in the tribal belt of Pakistan are unacceptable while the government will support up to its maximum in holding reconciliation talk in Afghanistan.
The US representative took Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif into confidence on opening of Taliban office in Doha and discussed the situation of Afghanistan as well as the upcoming visit US Secretary of State John Kerry to Pakistan.
