Amid a number of tablets from Samsung, Apple and other manufacturers, Google is all set to launch its Nexus 7 tablet in July with ASUS as its partner.
The mid range tablet from the search giant is surely be a tough competitor for Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8 and Apple’s iPad Mini 2 and in some extent to iPad 5.
The newly emerged FCC label hints at some of the specs of the next generation tablet from Google.
Processor: According to FCC, Nexus 7 will be having a 1.5 Giga Hertz quad-core Snapdragon Pro processor from QualComm with Adreno graphics.
Camera: The search engine giant is planning to use a rear camera on the tablet, which the present version of Nexus. It will be a 5 megapixel snapper.
Battery: The tablet will be having a 3950 mHh.
Display: Though FCC label doesn’t give any account on display, but previous reports hint at an imporved 7 inch screen with up to 1920 x 1200 pixels.
Connectivity: The tablet will have WiFi and 4G LTE which would make it compatible with iPad Mini and Galaxy Note 8.0.
Operating System: The tablet will come with the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
Price
The price is not confirmed yet but the likely price is estimated at $229 while the present version cost $199.
