Ahead of launch of two major rivals including Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox 720, Nintendo is likely to cut price on 32 GB Wii U gaming console.
The rumour is there on tech forums that GameStop is not stocking 8GB model of the gaming console with a likely recall on June 18.
This has made some of the gaming experts believe that Nintendo is gearing up to give a bit tough competition to PS4 and Xbox 720, at least in pricing.
According to Kotaku, Nitendo is likely to make the cut price announcement at E3, the most anticipated electronics show, where PS4 and Xbox 720 likely to give first appearance.
Wii U, which was launched last year, has never been impressive like its predecessor with most of game lovers are not inspired by the gaming console.
This is also evident from number of sold units which is far below the expectation even Sony and Microsoft are not there with their new gaming weapons.
The estimated price of 32 GB Wii U could be around $ 300 from the recent $350, the sources further said.
