LONDON: Keeping an eye over its rugged device users, Samsung has unveiled an “Active” version of its Galaxy S4 that will be resistant to water and dust.
The South Korean firs has said that the Galaxy S4 Active is designed to enhance life experiences of the active user who wants to stay connected while exploring environments from the most rugged mountain trails to the roughest rivers.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Active will be safe against water damage for up to 30 minutes in about 3 feet of water. There’s also a water-resistant earphone jack.
It supports underwater photography with Aqua Mode, the feature that increases the quality and clarity of the image during underwater shooting. Besides 4G LTE, Galaxy S4 Active also has WiFi connectivity and NFC ac standard, Bluetooth 4.0. It has 16GB internal memory, microSD card slot, 2GB RAM, 2600mAH battery. The machine will be sold with the colors of gray (Urban Grey), blue (Dive Blue) andOrange(Orange Flare) from this summer and and will be available first in theU.S.andSweden.
