Cardiff: South Africa on Wednesday will face World Champion India in opening match of last edition of International Cricket Council (ICC) Champions trophy played at Cardiff Wales Stadium.
As this is the last ICC Champions trophy tournament every team will be looking to make it memorable.
According to the states of One Day Internationals, South Africa have an edge against Indian with 44 wins out of 64 matches. On the other hand India manages to grab victory in 24 matches while two matches ended without result.

South Africa also have a balanced bowling attack in shape of Dale Steyn, Lonwabo Tostsobe Morne Morkel and spinner Robin Peterson.
On the other hand India also have a balanced side in both batting and bowling. As we look at the batting of India, they have in form Dinesh Karthik, Virat Kohli, skipper MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina. Â Experienced Irfan Pathan, young Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Umesh Yadav will take the responsibility of bowling.
