Islamabad: Supreme Court of Pakistan has annulled appointment of chief of National Accountability Bureau (NAB), the country’s elite institution against corruption.
Fasih Bukhari was appointed by Pakistan Peoples Party led coalition government to work as chief of NAB; however the elite court of the country has made his appointment null and void.
Howerver, the decision has made a legal crisis in power corridors as experts doubt over the measures taken by Bukhari during his regime in the NAB.
The president Asif Ali Zardari had appointed Bukhari as the chief of national institution against corruption back in October, 2011.
