Islamabad: Two heavyweights from Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) are likely to go confront at Islamabad’s NA-48, bye-elections.
PTI’s Asad Umer has been nominated as successor for Javed Hashmi, who has decided to keep his Multan seat in hand and to leave seat from Islamabad.
From PML-N side, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has excused contesting from the constituency compelling the party to field Maryam Nawaz on the seat. But the final decision is likely to be taken later after consultation of senior party leaders.
