KARACHI: There is always one reason or another for the dwellers here to brave electricity load-shedding amid severe weather conditions.
Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) has admitted that three hours load-shedding three times a day is being carried out in the ‘high losses areas’.
It blamed severity of weather for the surge in power faults, saying these are being removed on urgent basis by the staff.
It maybe mentioned here that the organization had warned two days ago that the shutdown could be experienced for 12 to 14 hours in view of the outstanding dues other sectors owe to the company.
Sources said the end result of the departmental issues is that the consumers have to face load-shedding despite paying their bills on time.
