With the rise of the Android devices like Galaxy S4, a new debate has started about the high-end users who still prefer iOS devices.
Will Android be able to take some share of high end users who are not every day consumers?
Because though Android is quite fit with everyday consumers, when it comes to the enterprise, iOS is still the preferred option.
Analyzing the situation, commentators say that right now two-thirds of all smartphones bought are Android-powered in nature but OS is the enterprise leader as iOS devices are considered high-end and more secure than their Android counterparts.
The fact of the matter is that enterprise users have always preferred high-end devices, it is a category that is exclusive for iOS as of now.
But experts say that now Android is catering to all market segments. So this exclusive trend will also be changing in favor of Android because more and more people are bringing their android devices to work and this number has reached millions as of now.
According to a recent research , about 15.1 million Android smartphones were at work in 2012 and the number is going to to double in 2013.
The trend suggests that companies will have to make some changes in their policies because so many of the workers will be using Android as it is cost-effective and customizable that suits to mobility.
