ISLAMABAD: The security of the sub jail of Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf has been heightened following thwarting of huge terrorism bid in the federal capital.
The DIG arrived at the residence located in Chak Shehzad area, here on Wednesday, to review the arrangements to guard the locality.
Two check-posts of Rangers have also been established near the house to beef up security in the area.
Earlier, yesterday, a vehicle carrying 40 to 50kg of explosives was found parked near the sub jail of the former army chief.
Immediate measures were taken to secure the area and investigate the presence of the explosives in the federal capital.
