Peshawar: Awami National Party has summoned an emergency meeting of the party’s think-tank on April 18.
According to sources, the party leadership would consider the situation in the current wake of deadly attacks on party leadership mostly in Khyber Pakhtunkhua.
“The party will also decide over participation in the upcoming polls, they said.
According to the ANP claims, more than 700 of their activists have been killed in the Taliban attacks during the five year tenure. The attacks on the party have been intensified with elections inching closer.
On Tuesday, at least 16 people have been killed and 35 others including former Minister Ghulam Ahmed Bilour sustained injuries after a suicide bomber hit the party gathering in Peshawar, a metropolitan of Pakistan.
