After a mega launch of Galaxy S4 from Samsung, tech lovers are eyeing on Apple’s technological advancement in its next flagship model, iPhone 6.
We have gathered some of rumours and clues about the much hyped iPhone from the US tech giant.
Release Date
Yes! The most talked about thing about a new device is its release date and you would never stop counting dates of release about mega devices like iPhone 6.
Keeping in view of practices of Apple in last couple of years, it could be said quite confidently that the company has a two-phone launching schedule in a year; one in June and second in September.
In another post on iPhone 5S, we have calculated that the device is likely to come in June 20 followed by its sale in July. So as per practice of Apple, next device, and it should be iPhone 6, might be scheduled for Autumn season or September.
iPhone 6 coming with NFC
Near Field Communication is considered as a must thing in next generation smartphones. Apple, which is shying away using NFC in its devices, is finally set to introduce it with iPhone 6.
iOS 7 to be the OS
Developers are expecting launch of next version of Apple operating system, iOS 7, in upcoming Worldwide Developer Conference of Apple in June. If the expectation is true, we would see iPhone 6 to be runnig on iOS 7.
iPhone 6 Memory
Though it hasn’t confirmed till now, iPhone 6 might come with a 128 GB model. Apple is already using this storage with iPad, so a iPhone 6’s 128 GB model is likely to be landed in hands of data lovers this year.
Display
We have reported earlier that Apple may drop its Retina Display for Sharp’s IGZO technology due to its extraordinary density. Though there are many rumours about the display, but this one could be said a bit logical in nature. As far as size of the screen is concerned, pressure is mounting on Apple to go for a 5 inch or 4.8 inch screen, but it has tightened its lip over the issue.
