Rumours are getting hotter about PlayStation 4, the Future of Gaming as dubbed by Sony, so as about the next generation Xbox gaming console, Xbox 720.
There are many rumours regrading the date of release of the Xbox 720, the successor of the blockbuster gaming console, Xbox 360, which had made Microsoft a leading gaming player allover the globe.
Sony had lost its gaming dominance to Xbox 360 with a record selling of over 70 million consoles and later on the introduction of Xbox Live has further damaged the Japanese gaming giant.
So expectation bar is very high from Xbox 720. Though there are no official hint about its release, some experts have hinted that the console could be released in Christmas season.
According to Major Nelson Blog, Microsoft could give the first appearance of the console at E3 event in June. It means that after a couple of months you would be able to see the next generation gaming excellence and marvel.
Baird Equity Research analyst Colin Sebestian has predicted that both Sony and Microsoft are likely to give first appearances of their gaming consoles, says Expert Reviews.
“Given the fragile state of the console game market, we expect the E3 trade show in June will take on added significance, most likely providing the industry with the first public opportunity to examine next-generation hardware” Sebestian further said.
He also expected Microsoft to launch Xbox 720 in November, about a month after the rumoured launch of Sony’s PS4.
