Peshawar: At least 10 people were killed and several others, including security officials, injured in a suicide blast, targeting Frontier Constabulary (FC) convoy in Peshawar, the northwestern city of Pakistan.
Sources said that a suicide bomber blew himself up near the convoy at Fakhr-e-Alam road in Saddar area of the city.
Police confirmed that the blast was apparently a suicide.
Rescue sources said that at least five bodies and 13 injured, including three security men, were moved to the hospital soon after the incident.
Police and rescue teams have been reached on the spot and investigations are being carried out.
