Islamabad: Pakistan Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry on Tuesday remarked that the election process has been started and they do not want any intervention in it.
While hearing a petition filed by Dr Mubashir Hasan pertaining to transparent election, the chief justice said that the court had not intervened in the process over the petition of Tahir-ul-Qadri.
He said that the forum existed in the country to file complain against any person. “We want free and transparent election,” the CJ said.
The CJ ordered Hasan’s counsel to file the petition again saying it contains typographic errors.
Subsequently, the court adjourned the hearing of case till tomorrow.
