After Samsung’s grand launch of Galaxy S4, everyone is waiting for Apple to come up with something new.
And if this news is authentic, then ‘something new’ is likely to be the part of Apple’s iPhone 6, the flagship device of 2013 from the tech giant.
According Patently Apple, Sharp Corp has develop an advanced display technology that could even let you write on your device, whether a smartphone or a smart TV, with the help of an ordinary pencil or pen.
Isn’t it amazing?
Writing on smart devices through S Pen has been a highly helpful thing for the people who have to write a lot on their smart devices. And now with the help of this Sharp display technology, the writing process will be more convenient without any extra payment.
The PatentlyApple writes “Sharp Corp has developed a new display technology that brings up to 8 times higher sensitivity to a capacitive touch panel. The technology will be able to be used on 5″ displays for smartphones and scale through to 60″ for HDTVs.”
We have already discussed possibility of switching of iPhone display from Retina to IGZO display from Sharp. This new technology seems to be the next level of IGZO technology.
The technology is not a prototype as the company has started its production a few days back, according the Patently Apple.
But will Apple adopt this technology for its most awaited device, iPhone 6 is a million dollar question. It would be really interesting to see what strategy Apple is going to adopt to maintain its leadership in smart devices.
Particularly after the launch Samsung’s Galaxy S4, Apple must be working ‘hard’ to engage its fan base who is demanding a larger screen and a revolutionary device rather than evolutionary one.
