Sukkur: Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah on Monday said that foreign forces may be involved in sectarian attacks across the province.
At least four people have been killed and 12 other injured after a bomb blast ripped through a shrine in Shikarpur, a district of Pakistan’s Sindh province. Syed Hajan Shah, the Gaddi Nasheed (a living descendant of the saint buried well as the custodian of the shrine) was also among the injured.
It was the second blast in the interior Sindh after a blast hit a religious gathering attended by Sain Hussain Shah, the Pir of Qambar Sharif on February 20, 2013.
After visiting Pir Syed Hajan Shah in Sukkur, the chief minister said that certain forces were trying to raise sectarian tensions in the province.
“This is a wrong accusation that the current government has failed,” he said adding that the cuurent government had been gifted with terrorism from the previous government.
