With many reports about Apple’s iPad Mini 2 are already there, an interesting report has emerged regarding iPad Mini 3’s amazing display density.
According to Patently Apple, Apple has asked LG to produce premium class display for iPad Mini 3, the third generation mini tablet, with an amazing display of 400 pixel per inch for a 7.85 screen.
“Today, news out of Korea states that sources have confirmed that Apple has asked LG to deliver a premium class iPad mini display for their future iPad mini 3 pushing pixel density to over 400 pixels per inch for the 7.85 display,” the report said.
It is interesting to note that iPad mini was launched by Apple only last year in October and its second generation edition is yet to come. Keeping this thing in view, it is surprising that Apple is focusing too much on iPad mini and even considering configuration of iPad Mini 3.
According to the reports, iPad Mini 2 is likely to come with 324 pixels per inch or PPI display. At Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, LG, itself, introduced a ‘Phablet’ that has 400 PPI display so asking LG to work on a premium class display for iPad Mini 3 is understandable.
