Karachi: Hundreds of workers of the Ahle Sunnat wal Jamaat (ASWJ) staged sit-in at RCD highway near Hub district of Balochistan against the arrest of 113 people in province.
Following the Saturday’s bombing in Quetta and protests and sit-ins of Shi’ites across Pakistan, the security agencies held hundreds of people including the workers of the ASWJ and other banned outfits in the province.
Hundreds of the ASWJ workers led by Qadus Qadri and Jalil Qadri took out of the streets on Wednesday morning and staged sit-in at the RCD highway causing severe traffic jam on both sides of the highway.
The protesters said that they would continue the protest until the release of their 113 workers.
