Karachi: A powerful blast was heard in Karachi near Finance and Trade Centre (FTC) located at city’s one of the busiest road Shahrah-e-Faisal.
Two to three kilograms of explosives were used in the blast, Senior Superintendent of Police Raja Umar Khattab said.
There are no initial reports of any casualties and police are trying to identify the cause of the explosion.
Rescue workers have also reached the scene.
The blast took place at the same venue where protesters had concluded their sit-in against the deadly bombing in Quetta.
