Karachi: Traders, CNG and petrol filling station owners have announced to end an ongoing strike in Karachi city said that they would open their businesses in the evening.
Attique Mir, the chairman of the All Karachi Tajir Ittihad, said that they would end the strike on the call of Shia Ulema Council’s appeal. He added that the markets will be opened at 4pm.
Moreover, Petroleum Dealers Association Chairman and CNG station owners also announced to open the petrol pump in the city at 4:30pm.
The traders and other associations had supported the strike against the killing of over 85 Shiites in Quetta city.
