Peshawar: Former deputy leader of banned outfit Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan Maulvi Faqir Mohammad arrested on Monday with his four other militants while entering the Pakistan’s Tirah valley.
Afghan intelligence officials claimed that Maulvi Faqir along with four militants arrested while entering Pakistan’s Tirah valley from Nangarhar province of Afghanistan.
The officials also said that Maulvi Faqir and other four militants, who had entered Nangarhar from Bajaur Agency, were caught near Basawal on Torkham Road near the border of Tirah valley.
According to media reports, four other arrested militants were identified as Maulana Hakeem, Maulvi Turabi, Shahid and Fateh.
