Islamabad: Pakistan has struck a deal with a Chinese company under which the latter would provide 50 locomotives to Islamabad at a cost of Rs10.78 billion.
The Chinese company said it would supply 25 locomotives at the end of this year and the remainder would be shipped by August 2014.
Pakistan Ministry of Railways had placed the order for 50 locomotives with the company in December.
