Islamabad: Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Thursday said that if Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan is serious for peace talks then they should announce one-month cease fire before the talks.
Giving a press briefing to media, the interior minister said that the appointment of Taliban militant Adnan Rasheed– who along with more than 350 militant prisoners escaped in Bannu Jail break- as the negotiator is a joke.
He further said that the anti-state elements were striving hard to delay the elections but made it clear that the polls would be held on time.
“Ihsanullah Ihsan is not a Taliban man,” he claimed adding it would soon be revealed that the TTP spokesman was working on another agenda instead on that of the Taliban.
